Boat Tour, Saigon
While walking around Ho Chi Min, we were solicited for a boat tour in the canal. They were asking for the rates of the legit local boat tour operators, which was about $30 to $40 USD, but we manage to get them down to about $20 CAD for the both of us for about an hour in the canal. All pretty suspect, but who doesn’t like an adventure?
We got our tour, but it did not get us too far into the delta, firstly, the propeller was catching all the debris from the dirty waterway and the captain of the boat had to to dive in the water to clear out the blockage. On top of that the weather was coming down with some nasty lightning, by the time we return, it did give us an hour plus on the canal, so it was a successful venture in my mind.
Tour in the rain
The audio might be loud, but you might want to hear what terry commented on. The motor on this boat was not in the best shape.
I think the little clip on how the boat driver does the steering is golden.
