Traveling solo again
The friends has left me in Pula, so it is time to explore. Taking a walk around Pula in the old towne is the way to go to find the little gems and get the feel of the history.
A good pair of walking shoes is a must.
Bullet holed walls
Saw several buildings with a history of war still adorn the streets.
Old Towne
All the little streets and alleys lead you to cool places.
Old buildings
Most are converted to little businesses, like restaurants, art galleries, museums...
Colosseum
Pula Amphitheatre
Close to the ferry, the arena is 1st century built and is the highlight of Pula. I was lucky to catch a show of the gladiators while I was there.
Spectators
Apparently you can fit about 20,000 people here. Quite a nice stage.
Wenches
Is that the correct term? ha ha
Arch of the Sergii
Old ruins are spread around Pula.
