Lake Tonlé Sap
By far from my travels, this lake is definitely in my top ten. The travel from Siem Reap to Battambang on lake Tonlé Sap. I just love the normal lifestyle of the fishermen’s and families that live on that lake. While we live in the urban cities and use buses, cars and trains, these folks use boats and everything can be transport with boats even motocycles. I could probably spend days here snapping photos of the villages on the lake.
While on this trip, an adventure event happened, we hit a hornets nest in the thick shrubbery and one of those nasty bugs stung one of the passenger, she just loss consciousness just a couple seats in front of us (Melissa and I).

We were still three hours from our destination, luckily there was a nurse on board and someone had anti histamine in their travel kit, after the husband fed the lady the pills, she regained consciousness. My thought was, “I never pack that kind of stuff in my kit, what if it happened to us?” Well, that’s in the pack now whenever third world country is involved. Travel safe.
